DIGITAL DESIGNER + FOUNDER OF BIGGERWORK
I've spent over a decade working directly with 200+ ambitious entrepreneurs, small businesses & nonprofit organizations to brand and build out their big ideas. With a love for bold aesthetic coupled with more than a dozen certifications and trainings in UX/UI design + web development, my sweet spot is merging smart and user friendly designs with visuals full of personality.
WHAT'S OUR BIGGER WORK?
In salute to "Bigger Work" being named for our personal work ethos, we offer free design services to a small woman-run nonprofit or disadvantaged business owners every quarter ☀️.
Over time I've welded together different skill sets through dozens of professional trainings (and a slight obsession for self-teaching new stuff) that's helped me rock a range of marketing hats through these 13+ years of self employment- graphic designer, business coach, web developer, copywriter, brand strategist, UX/UI designer, consultant, social media manager and late-night--oops-fixer.
I love working with everyone from solo creatives to bootstrap startups to community non-profits; anybody making a mark for something better, bigger. I've made so many wonderful connections and friendships over the years by building this work with neat people who are passionate about what they do too.
I've spent most of adulthood building things beyond my means, education and circumstances- It's why my own "bigger work" reaches beyond this work- including launching a free business training program for disadvantaged single women with children to get started in self employment, as well as building affordable business and branding workshops for anyone interested in building their own path.
Outside of work life, you'll find me camping remotely around the Southwest, hiking my rescue dog, convincing my kids they can handle one more mile of trail, keeping my high desert garden alive, or occasionally throwing mud on my pottery wheel. I've been wildly obsessed with self-built work ever since high school (...I use to ditch regularly to go read entrepreneurship books at Barnes & Noble 😏), and I play with my handful of side business + non-profit projects on the regular.
Becoming the bigger version of who I came here to be is my life's brand job, and I hope that is felt through the work I take part in helping create and by the folks I'm lucky enough to work with.
